BJP's Youth wing BJYM Mumbai President slams Rahul Gandhi over 'Rape in India' remark

Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Mumbai president Tajinder Singh Tiwana has declared a movement against Rahul Gandhi on his statement on rapes in India. BJYM Mumbai protested outside the Congress office at Tilak Bhawan.

Tiwana said, “My protest is against the derogatory ‘Rape In India’ remark by Rahul Gandhi. Such statements coming from him are not acceptable at all. Every individual has certain responsibility towards society and the nation as a whole.”

Rahul Gandhi should focus on the development and upliftment of society rather than these silly statements. As the youth, we will not entertain such heinous comments that harm the integrity of the country,” Tiwana added.

Tiwana was previously the Mumbai General Secretary of BJYM, and is now appointed as the President in October this year.
