ISRO launched satellites from 26 countries in last 5 years: MoS Space Jitendra Singh

New Delhi: The Union Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space, Jitendra Singh, stated in Parliament yesterday that ISRO has launched satellites from 26 countries during the last five years.

Contracts with 10 countries namely; USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Singapore, The Netherlands, Japan, Malaysia, Algeria and France were signed in the last five years under commercial arrangements.

Singh also shared details of the revenue generated through these launches in the last 5 years. The data showed that a total of Rs 1,245.17 crore has been generated since FY 2014-15, with the highest amount of Rs 324.19 crore coming in FY 2018-19.

This information was provided by the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Jitendra Singh in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha on 12 December.
