ISRO Space Tech Incubation Centre at NIT-Trichy will cater to South India: MoS PMO

New Delhi: The Union Minister of State for Space, Jitendra Singh, said yesterday that ISRO has set-up a Space Technology Incubation Centre (S-TIC) at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli. The centre will work with ISRO on the technical problems at hand related to future Space programs and shall provide solutions.

This S-TIC will cater to the southern region of India, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and the Union Territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry.

This information was provided by the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Jitendra Singh in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha on 4 December.
